Rubicon is proud to have supplied essential components to Noble Green Energy for CHEP's groundbreaking project aimed at reducing carbon emissions and cutting electricity costs at their Pontefract facility in England.

We provided high-quality products, including the Ascent Mounting Kit (Trapezoidal Roof Kit) and 1,262 Canadian Solar panels, which Noble Green Energy utilized to form a robust 517 kWp system. This system now meets 40% of the site’s annual electricity needs. Through this project, CHEP can extend production hours into the morning and evening with their east- and west-facing system, ensuring a more consistent energy yield throughout the day compared to a traditional south-facing system.

By incorporating solar PV, CHEP, the global leader in reusable pallets and container management, is set to generate around 450,000 kWh of clean energy annually, cutting 205 tonnes of carbon emissions. This is equivalent to eliminating 80,000 heavy goods vehicle (HGV) road miles or planting 10,000 trees.
